Student clubs on campus are the backbone to student life for many students at the university. Some students said they have made friends for life after working side-by-side with them during club activities.
Student clubs range in what they do from education and sports to arts and charity. Student clubs are not just the source of entertainment or a point to put in CV but a resourceful platform to acquire new skills or hone existing ones as well a place one can find a relief during stressful exam periods.
“Our events are an excellent opportunity for students to distract themselves from the stress of work and studies and most importantly to remember the importance of care not just about physical but mental health,” said Tomiris Mukhamediyar, the president of Jarqyn mental health student club.
Extracurricular activities are a vital criterion in admission to universities and for different scholarships so joining the student clubs is a pleasurable necessity with possibility to discover new facets of oneself.
“We welcome the students even with nearly no experience in debating and help them to get the necessary skills,” said Alnura Zhumadilova, the president of Intellectual Debate Club

Intellectual Debate Club
Founded in 2004. The organization organizes debate games, academic lectures, and tournaments. The purpose is developing oratory skills, communicating skills, and critical thinking of the club’s members.

Legal Clinic
Was founded in 2012. The club works to to increase the level of legal literacy at KIMEP. Legal Clinic has three main directions of activities: Academic Internship, the project Ask a Lawyer, and the Legal Clinic as a student organization.
