“This event is made for freshmen students to get to know each other,”  said Abdulla Serikkhan, a campus advisor. “They meet here and make friends.”

This annual event helps students get acquainted with their new environment, meet their peers, and kick off their university journey on a positive note. During Orientation Day, freshmen explore the KIMEP campus, learn where their classes will be held, get to know about student organizations on KSA EXPO and familiarize themselves with the facilities available to them. The day is packed with engaging activities, including interactive games and ice-breaking exercises.

And, of course, no event at KIMEP is complete without some delicious free pizza. It’s a chance for freshmen to enjoy a meal while socializing and getting to know their fellow students.

KIMEP advisors play a crucial role in coordinating the event and assisting newcomers. They are well-versed in all aspects of university life, including courses, tuition, and payments, and understand the importance of such events in helping students transition smoothly into their new environment.
