Sakha-Kazakh Ethnofestival YHYAQ

YHYAQ ALMATY is an ethnofestival inspired by the ancient celebration of the Sakha people, the northernmost Turkic ethnic group. This annual event brings people together in one space to connect across generations and with their ancestors by honoring traditions and customs.

At the YHYAQ Ethnofestival, you will have the chance to:

• Discover the traditional culture of the Sakha people

• Enjoy performances by Turkic artists

• Witness traditional sports competitions
