Get ready, KIMEP community!

Halloween began over 2,000 years ago with the Celtic festival of Samhain in Ireland, marking the shift from harvest to winter.

Over time, it evolved through many cultures blending Irish and American traditions with Mexico’s Día de los Muertos and other celebrations that honor creativity, memory, and togetherness.

Costumes can be scary, funny, or creative anything that lets you show a different side of yourself. The goal is to have fun together without spending much.

It’s one of those days that reminds us why being part of a community matters: a little creativity and chaos, and a lot of connection.
