In the run-up to Valentine’s Day, Art Revolution warmed the hearts of the crowd with their new performances at the Perk coffee shop. That evening, guests were surrounded by themed decorations done in the traditional “Valentine’s Day” palette. Despite the difficulties in organizing the space due to ongoing renovations in the Chill-Room, Perk provided a place for the musicians, and the guests came together to truly feel the energy of love that was in the air that day.

“Today, new participants and a saxophonist made their debut at our event. We choose the program based on three factors: song relevance, audience preferences, and musicians’ input to ensure heartfelt performances,” said Darya Ursan, president of Art Revolution.

Initially, no one discussed the dress code for the event, but many guests decided to add color to the interior and add a splash of red to their outfits, matching the festive mood.

People around were chatting, creating a rhythmic noise that helped the musicians tune into the energetic mood and the atmosphere of the crowd, making their performance even more captivating. At the performances, you could hear all the love songs in different languages. Each performance described how diverse love can be.

Daniyar Baymagambetov, the debuting vocalist, expressed that he believes “Careless Whisper” by George Michael is currently the most romantic song, describing it as tender and representing true love. He added that for a musician, love can be reflected through their art, explaining that love is when you care deeply and experience something unthinkable inside, which then leads to creation.

During the break between performances, the organizers provided a buffet table with drinks and light snacks, which were also decorated in the theme of Valentine’s Day.

Yersultan Toktamyssov said he enjoyed the choice of music at the concert as simply marvelous, specifically commending the song “I Was Made for Loving You Baby” by Kiss. He added that the concert vibe gave him a feeling of youthfulness, with the entire event bringing about a joyful atmosphere, even in midterm week. He mentioned that the music served to make the loneliness more bearable, and he captured his emotions using his favorite word, “delicious,” as he explained that all aspects of the event were delicious.

As the soothing notes of the saxophone faded, the room was filled with a warm, lingering sense of connection. Guests left with smiles, some holding hands, others exchanging shy glances — the magic of the evening had sparked something special. Art Revolution successfully concluded their new traditional performance on the eve of Valentine’s Day and promised us to improve, delving deeper into experiments with art and new genres. It was a night when art, music, and love all came together to show that joy and connection can always be found, even during the busiest of times.
